Course Summary
Creative approaches can offer clients an alternative way to explore experiences that may be difficult to express through words alone. Images, stories, objects and physical materials can support your clients to communicate deeper levels of emotion and discover new meaning.
This Professional Certificate in Creative Therapy is an experiential course for counsellors who want to develop their confidence in using creative methods as part of their therapeutic practice.
Across four weekends, you will experience creative approaches from both the client and practitioner perspectives. Each teaching day includes a mix of theory, demonstrations, practical skills work and time for reflection. As part of the learning we will actively consider how creative work can be introduced sensitively and integrated within your existing therapeutic approach.
