The Mindspace Foundation is expanding and we’re recruiting new Counselling Tutors in in at our counselling hub in Basingstoke. Since we first opened our doors in 2018, our mission has been to increase the accessibility of mental health support across Hampshire and beyond by increasing the number of highly skilled and well-trained counselling practitioners. Today we’re one of the largest dedicated independent providers of training for counselling professionals in Hampshire.

As a not for profit Community Interest Company, we’re dedicated to providing low-cost, affordable counselling to people living in the Hampshire area. The funds generated from our training and services are targeted towards providing affordable counselling for all, regardless of their financial situation.
Increase in demand
In the past year we’ve seen an increase in demand for both for our low-cost counselling services and our training courses that take students through from entry level to fully qualified counsellors. As a result, we’re now looking for enthusiastic and experienced Counselling Tutors to join our team from September this year.

Whether you’re new to teaching or a seasoned Counselling Tutor, we’d love to hear from you. Our tutors deliver courses from entry level to Level 5, working variable hours on a freelance basis for competitive rates of pay. We actively encourage development and we’re a committed team, providing opportunities for shadowing and coaching from wider teaching staff.
