Counsellor and client in counselling session

Qualify as a counsellor

Would you like to practice as a counsellor, either within a counselling organisation, an educational setting or as a counsellor with your own private practice? We have a few last remaining places on both our part-time Level Diploma 4 in Therapeutic Counselling and part time Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Children and Young Adults, beginning in September this year. Both courses are accredited by the nationally recognised CPCAB and teaching takes place at the Mindspace counselling hub in Basingstoke.

Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – an overview

Completion of this two-year part-time qualification will qualify you to work in an employed or voluntary role in a counselling agency in both health care and non-medical settings. It will also allow you to progress to the CPCAB Level 5 Diploma or equivalent which qualifies you to practice as an independent counsellor.

When do sessions take place?

There are 3 sessions every month and you can choose to join either the Tuesday group or the Weekend group.

Tuesday Group – First Three Tuesdays of each Month (9.30am – 4.45pm)
