Course Summary

This workshop will give counsellors planning to enter into private practice an overview of the first steps to setting up their own practice. Candidates will gain an understanding of the processes that are an important part of becoming an independent practitioner.

Topics Covered

By the end of the course, candidates will have greater understanding of how to take the first steps to set up in private practice. Topics covered include:

- First steps in starting a private practice
- Key considerations and factors for success
- The routes to independent practice

Entry Requirements

Suitable for qualified counsellors or trainee counsellors in year 1 of Level 4 or above.

Students must be aged 16 or over.
