Our Counselling service for 11-18 year olds offers a confidential and safe space for young people to talk to a professional counsellor about their worries, concerns and difficulties. Counselling aims to help young people build an internal ‘toolbox’ of awareness, understanding and strategies to support their future mental health and well-being.
what do we offer?
We can support a wide range of areas such as self-esteem, anxiety, depression, school or family issues, stress and relationships. Sessions are offered each week for 50 minutes with the same Counsellor for as long as needed. The Counsellor will review things every 6 weeks to ensure everything is on track and agree a plan to continue sessions where needed.
what are the costs?
As a community focussed organisation, we aim to keep the cost of our services as low as possible and therefore charge a flat rate fee of £40 per session, which is payable in advance of each booking.
